Electra's unique lifecycle concept is interwoven throughout all of our activities, guiding operations every single day. It influences how our projects are managed and the unique way our staff is trained.
In other parts of the industry, lack of professionalism among mechanical workers is a common complaint, and trade schools regularly open and close at dizzying rates. Electra is fighting this phenomenon and raising the bar for the entire field. As part of this process, we have opened a professional trade school for HVAC technicians, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy. The carefully-planned curriculum is taught by experienced professionals and incorporates advanced equipment and simulators. This provides workers with the best possible training conditions and ensures that future Electra staff is skilled and professionally-trained. Two different tracks are available:
- We recruit workers with basic electrical licenses but no hands-on experience, offering them professional training. Upon graduating, they are authorized to work as HVAC technicians with unique certifications as Service Electrician – Industrial Heating & Air Conditioning.
- We offer a special track for potential employees with no electrical license: After the training, they begin work at Electra as certified electricians.
